I never heard about this Jamaican athlete before Olympic trials last year where she bumped Veronica Campbell-Brown out of an automatic place on the team. I have been watching her progress since then and she seems like a real down to earth young woman who is grateful for the gift God has given to her.
She returned home recently after her good showing on the circuit and at the World Championships in Berlin.
