In a worse rut today

I was working a half day today, so took that as a chance to go to the gym. Before I left the office to walk up there, I told my colleague that I just didn't feel like, but she said to persevere. That I did and went on the treadmill. After 3 minutes, I just couldn't do it anymore. So I left.

One minor celebration though.....

I didn't go and buy ice cream or cake or anything junky like that, which would have been normal after I stepped on the scale and saw that I weigh 92.6 freeeeeeking kilos! Cho bl&$^#d cl$^#%t! You get no reward for eating less sugar, and eating less in general. I'm not starving myself so it is not a result of metabolism slowing down. Maybe though, it is ovulation time (don't you just love it how I give you these details about my body functions?/)and I think I normally put on weight around that time. I sure hope that is the reason.

I went to the natural fruits store, bought a fruit punch without sugar and bought a fish wrap from the eatery next door. When I got home, ate that and some dried apricots and prunes. Now I am going to hang out the clothes, and take up all the dried ones from off the living room bed so I can chill out tonight and watch The Biggest Loser.

Maybe I will get inspiration from people who are way larger than I am....ie OBESE. I am only OVERWEIGHT.

De sulphur in some o' those dried apricots has a really not-so-sweet side effect: awful flatulence.
