The next decade....what's in store?

Summertime

It is at times like this that I wished I were back in England. It is just too hot here. I guess that contributes to the lazy feeling, and the drinking of things other than water. Bad for the weight loss programme.

I am listening to Fantasia's album and Summertime just finished playing. I remember during American Idol when she performed that song in the later stages of the competition. She wore a red dress and lay on the floor. She got the pitch exactly right (I have a musical ear so I know) and it gave me goosebumps.

She's been to St Lucia Jazz where a Jamaican journalist gave her full marks, especially for her audience rapport. She also performed in Jamaica on Reggae Sumfest which is held in the summertime. Can't remember the reviews. She had on some short shorts bwoy.

I guess in the summer time, that's the kind of garb one has to wear. It's just too bloody hot man!
