Had wanted to do more cardio but had to come home to baby sit, thereby resultling in me eating ice cream and cake. Still using food as a mood enhancer. Haven't broken that habit yet.
Tomorrow morning is Yoga and cardio for sure, and maybe I will do some arms.
Posted by yamfoot at January 19, 2005 08:16 PMask the fellas to spot you one day - and do a workout that has you barely able to drive home after.... your leg weights sound really light... I used to do between 270lbs and 300lbs, 20 reps, 3 sets. Buss a sweat and lie there and bawl the living eyewata....It does not make you bulky - just firm. Smith machine - about 120 lbs (be very careful with your form on that one!!)
Try it!
Posted by: Princess P de la Bimshire at January 20, 2005 12:05 PMDon't have a clue about the machines and the weights. I kinda like getting my exercise out of sports. That's why I took up badminton. I miss playing now that school tek ova but it's the price we pay. Sounds like you plan to stick with it though Yammy. Hope it works well for you.
Posted by: scratchie at January 20, 2005 02:11 PMP, that weight too heavy for me. It is the lying leg press machine where your legs are higher up than your upper body so you push up. I usually have a 45lb and 25lb weight on each side, so 140lb and that was strenuous. Because i havent been doing the weights, i started back light and will eventually go up to 45 + 35 max.
I see a guy put about 5 x 45lb ON EACH SIDE!! Him mussi raas mad. I not entering a body building show.
