Read in the papers recently and saw on the news tonight that a 76 year old professor gave birth to twins, one of whom died. The one who survived weighed 3 pounds and appears in good health.
See, why rush to have children thinking that the biological clock will stop ticking? I say do what you want to do while you are young, and then when you are mentally prepared, have your kids. Even if you're 76!
I've just never felt the urge to have children, althoug I LOVE being around them. In fact, my ultimate ideal job would be to teach kids age 5 - 11. But I know that I want to be able to get up at the jump of a hat and fly across the world for whatever reason, and if I had children, I might get resentful that I can't do that again and take it out on them.
