I noticed today while in the bank, that out of about 10 ladies, only two had on anything resembling make up.
Eight had on nothing, and when I say nothing, I mean nothing. Face just dry so. One had on lip gloss. The other had on some very light lipstick, and some eye ting (which I don't own any of).
Wonder if it is in their dress code that they musn't wear make up. I can tell you though, based on Sis who wears make up every day to work, that when you apply it well, it does enhance one's face.
But remember I posted a few weeks ago that I'm not girly-girly at all. So that means very little make up, if any. And when I say make up, I mean lipstick!
I could therefore be very comfortable working at Scotiabank Liguanea.

In Bimshire, it is pancake style - false hair, nails, eyes...some of the styles you see have the Bozo thing going on - now... why would someone shave off all their eyebrows and draw a line an inch above where they used to be??? go figure!
Posted by: Princess P de la Bimshire at August 4, 2004 07:49 PMThe way I look at it, makeup is something that should be used to enhance ones natural features. If a woman is attractive or just downright gorgeous, then nutten more than a little lipstick and perhaps some face powder is needed.
Those who have the colours of the rainbow as 'eye shadow' are sickening to behold. And as for those who have on a literal 'mask'....look like duppy pon a wet night to rahtid!
Won't even get into the false hair and wigs in the burgundy, orange and blondes that have become so comonplace here. And them plastic press on claws! Aint no beauty there IMHO.
