Showers....and Tears

Early yesterday morning, the skies opened and showers came pouring down. Perhaps the sky knew that later that day, we would have been shedding showers of our own in the form of tears, for one gone too soon.

Just prior to the start of the proceedings, the skies again opened, perhaps wanting to provide company as we grieved, sang and prayed for his soul.

Father urged us not to ask ourselves "Why?", "Was it my fault?", "Could I have done something to prevent this tragedy?", but that's not so easy to do is it.

Today, the skies are still grey, overcast and sombre, again reflecting our moods. Soon, the sun will shine again. For him, we hope it already has.

Rest in peace.

Thanks. Time takes care of these things. The family has a lot of support.
